Yes. Our Pre-Primary School offers Gr RRR – R, Gr RRR: (3 years turning 4), Gr RR: (4 years turning 5), Gr R: (5 years turning 6). Included in the school fees for the Pre-Primary School: 2 meals a day (breakfast and lunch), Aftercare until 18:00, Sport and Culture activities are included in the fees. Our Gr RRR – R learners follow the CAPS Curriculum.

Yes. Our Primary School offers Gr 1 – Gr 7. Textbooks, all Sport and Culture activities are included in the fees. Our Gr 1 – 7 learners follow the CAPS Curriculum.

Yes. Our High School offers Gr 8 – Gr 12. Textbooks, all Sport and Culture activities are included in the fees. Our Gr 8 – 12 learners follow the CAPS Curriculum and write the National Senior Certificate Exams.

We follow the CAPS curriculum set out by the Department of Education. Our Grade 12’s write the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination.

Athletics, Netball, Soccer and Rugby

Eisteddfod, Choir, Concert, Chess, Fun days, Social Projects, Robotics, Outings and Trips

• Our school fees include the following:
  • Textbooks / learner support material
  • Remedial classes for learners that struggle with certain subjects
  • Extra lessons for learners that want to improve their marks in certain subjects
• Our school fees do not include:
  • Stationery packs
  • Uniform
  • Trips and outings

Registration fee costs R1 100.00

1. Receive application forms
2. Submit the completed application form with all required supporting documents
3. Application will be assessed and verified
4. If application was successful, parents will receive a provisional acceptance letter, family code and banking details to pay once-off non-refundable registration fee via email
5. Pay registration fee as soon as possible and send the POP to registrations@royalschools.co.za
6. Once the POP has been received at the school the parent will receive an acceptance and welcome letter via email

Yes. We are a private school

• Maximum of 30 learners per primary school class
• Maximum of 35 per secondary school class

• Primary school offers English(HL) and Afrikaans(FAL) and isiZulu(FAL only up to Grade 6 in 2021)
• Secondary school offers English(HL), isiZulu(HL), Afrikaans(FAL) and isiZulu(FAL)

All textbooks are provided for and included in school fees on a loan basis. These must be returned to the school at the end of the year. Lost or damaged textbooks must be replaced by the parent at an additional fee. A once off payment of R1 040.00 must be paid for a stationery pack which learners will receive in class at the beginning of the year.

Our school does not offer transportation however we can provide contacts of people who transport our learners from different areas

• At Royal Schools we have a conduct system
• The conduct system has Merits and Demerits
• Negative behaviours receive demerits (negative points) and positive behaviours are rewarded with Merits (positive points)
• We also have a zero tolerance towards Bullying as well as the use of Cell phones during school hours

We are situated at Kliprivier & JG Strijdom Road, Albertsdal, Alberton, 1448. The school is inside an Estate called Leopard’s Rest.
